Arrive and transfer to Kandy, with a scenic stop at Pinnawela. Optionally, visit a local Spice Garden in Mawanella to explore the aromatic world of Sri Lankan spices.
Check in to your hotel in Kandy. Start your city tour with a drive around Upper Lake, taking in the picturesque views. Continue to Market Square and explore the Arts and Crafts Centre, where you can see traditional handicrafts and local artistry. Visit the Gem Museum and Lapidary to learn about Sri Lanka's precious gemstones.
Discover the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a significant cultural and religious site. At 5:30 PM, immerse yourself in a vibrant cultural show showcasing traditional dance and music. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay, reflecting on a day rich in cultural experiences.
