Day Plan
Reach Manali a day before on own. Wake up to the sun hitting your eyes through the peaks of the curtains, have your breakfast and set out to explore Manali all by yourself. You can chill out at the Mall Road. Take a closer look at the Jogni Falls, a beautiful waterfall located approximately 7.5 kilometers from Manali's bus station and approximately 4 kilometers from Vashisht Temple. If you feel adventurous, you can take a trek from Vashisht temple to the waterfall which takes about 1.5 hours. The entire route is quite scenic, providing some of the best views of Manali. This 4000-year-old Vashisht temple is dedicated to the ancient Indian sage Vashisht, who was Ram and Lakshman's Guru. This temple is well-known for its sacred hot water springs, which are thought to have skin-healing properties. Men and women have separate Turkish-style bathing enclosures. Visit the Hidamba Temple, which is dedicated to Hidamba Devi, the wife of Bhima, a character in the Indian epic Mahabharata
