Rann Utsav is a celebration of life, festivities and culture of Kutch and Gujarat. It is a landmark bestowing grace and elegance where the world gathers for more than 2 months. Welcome to Bhuj!!! On arrival our representative will transfer you to Tent city Dhordo, village where the picturesque white desert is waiting to welcome you and if you visit the full moon night during Rann Utsav, the region wakes to an endless cycle of dance, and where century old traditions are revived in celebration. After the check in formalities and relaxing a bit you can visit White Rann to witness the Grandeur of Sunset either by bus or camel cart on 1st come 1st basis. Return back to the Tent and after dinner enjoy the Culture of Kutch along with entertaining activities. Overnight stay at tent in Dhordo village.
After a scrumptious early breakfast today proceed towards Mandvi, an oasis for the thirsty tourist. Mandvi beach is very peaceful and serene place. It is located on the banks of the Rukmavati River and is 1 km away from Arabian sea at Gulf of Kutch. Later visit Vijay Vilas Palace, which has a domed terrace that gives a panoramic view of the Sea. Further proceed towards Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial, foremost freedom fighters in the history of freedom movement of India with high sense of patriotism and selfless service for nation. Take a break for Lunch. Later laze around Mandvi beach and enjoy the sunset view. In the evening return back to the tent city. Adter dinner enjoy the Culture of Kutch along with entertaining activities. Overnight stay at tent in Dhordo village.
Today early morning transfer to White Rannto witness the grandeur of sunrise. After experiencing the scenic movement return back to the tent for the breakfast. Till lunch you can enjoy the in house activities or some shopping. Later you will proceed to Kalo Dungar ( Black hill), is the highest point in Kutch, at 462 m. From here, the entire northern horizon vanishes into the Great Rann, the desert and sky often becoming indistinguishable. It is one of the few non-coastal locations where you feel like you are at the edge of the earth, on the brink of incomprehensible vastness that fades off towards infinity. Enroute visit the handicraft village “Gandhi Nu Gaam”. After some handicraft shopping return back to the Tent city. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Dhordo.
After breakfast check out from the tent and proceed back to Bhuj for your onward Journey with sweet memories.
