A valley 1400 meters above sea level, Kathmandu revels in its contradictions. It has seen its wealth of historical landmarks, like palaces and temples, become a magnet for offbeat tourists looking for something extra. Even the earthquake in 2015 couldn’t subdue the ancient spirit of the city and restoration work on damaged monuments is in full swing, including the iconic Kashtamandap, or wooden house.
Arrive to a warm welcome from our representatives at Kathmandu Airport. After transfer to hotel and check-in, the day is all yours to relax and explore your new surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.
