ITINERARY
DAY 1
  • Arrival Bangalore

    Welcome to Bangalore Airport/Railway Station! Check-in, and set out on an afternoon tour of the city. Start at Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, followed by Cubbon Park. Visiting Dodda Ganeshana Gudi Temple is a serene experience too. After a look at the legendary Vidhan Soudha building, sample more history at the magnificent Tipu’s Palace and Bangalore Fort. Wrap up the day with a visit to Ulsoor Lake. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

DAY 2

    Bangalore – Mysore (150 kms / 4 hrs)

    Post breakfast, set off for Mysore. Check-in to hotel on arrival. We have stops on the way, to admire the Chamundeshwari Temple on top of Chamundi Hill, which also provides a breathtaking view of Mysore. In the evening, lose yourself in the 150 acre expanse of the Brindavan Gardens and its fabulous light show. Overnight stay in Mysore.

DAY 3

    Mysore

    Grab breakfast, before embarking on day of sightseeing. Visit the legendary Mysore Palace, the official seat of the rulers of Mysore. Very different and very beautiful is the St. Philomena’s Church, which we visit next, with its neo-gothic architecture. If that whet your appetite for history, satiate it at Folk Lore Museum, with its collection of ancient artefacts. Enjoy the sight of synchronized fountains at Government Buildings. Return to a great dinner. Overnight stay in Mysore.

DAY 4

    Mysore – Coorg (120 kms / 3 hrs)

    After breakfast, time to set off on the drive to Coorg. Arrive and check-in to your cosy room. Take the rest of the day of rest and relaxation. Overnight stay in Coorg.

DAY 5

    After breakfast, it is time to visit the colorful and enchanting Omkareshwar Temple, before immersing yourself in the perfectly preserved regalia of Madikeri Fort. Up next are the Abbi Falls and their cascading, frothy waters, which is a must-see for any nature enthusiast. Return to a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Coorg.

DAY 6

    Coorg – Hassan (110 kms / 3 hrs)

    Your drive to Hassan begins after breakfast. Once there, check-in and freshen up. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please. Explore your surroundings and relax. Overnight stay in Hassan.

DAY 7

    Hassan (Belur & Halebeedu excursion) (45 kms oneway)

    Have breakfast to prepare yourself for a busy day of sightseeing. First up is a visit to the ancient capital of the Hoysalas, Halebeedu. Here, you can view the magnificent Hoysaleshwara Temple from the 12th century. There are more historical lodestars in Belur, in the form of Chennakesava Temples, famous for their indigenous style of architecture. Return to a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Hassan.

DAY 8

    Hassan – Sravanabelagola – Bangalore (200 kms / 5 hrs)

    Time to bid goodbye to Karnataka with a final breakfast. On the drive back to Bangalore, we still have a breathtaking monument to discover. The stop over is at Sravanabelagola, where sits the gigantic stature of Lord Gomteshwara, allegedly visible for 25 kms. It’s the perfect final memory, as you proceed to Bangalore Airport/Railway Station to depart for home.
