Their rugged coastlines, primordial rain forests, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, fjords, volcanic craters and alpine lakes will make nature-lovers visit the country again.

ITINERARY
DAY 1
  • Arrive Auckland

    Welcome to Auckland !! The Auckland region encompasses the city and the gorgeous surrounding towns and landscapes. It is a country where everyone lives within half an hour of beautiful beaches, hiking trails and a dozen enchanting holiday islands. After Immigration clearance and baggage collection, pick up the rental car from the airport branch and drive to the hotel. Visit the Sky tower in the evening. The Sky Tower is standing tall at 328 meters as an icon of Auckland's sky line for almost 20 years. It's an exciting hub of adrenaline activities, superb dining and breathtaking views. Later, head for a short walk to Viaduct harbor. The Viaduct Harbour lies within the middle of Auckland city and is home to gourmet restaurants, lively bars and buzzing night life. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2
  • Breakfast
    Auckland - Coromandel (168 Kms/ Approx 2.5 hours)

    This morning, check out, self drive and enjoy the local sightseeing around the central city & picturesque suburbs. Journey begins with a short trip over the Harbour Bridge to the North Shore before returning to the central city to visit Queen St and the Auckland Viaduct. You will then drive along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, in Mission Bay. Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park has panoramic views over Whenua Rangatira, Auckland city and Waitemata Harbour. This park is a perfect venue for flying a fabulous array of colourful and creative kites. Later, drive back to Auckland, travelling along the Seabird Coast towards the Coromandel Penninsula. You might like to stop at the Miranda Shorebird Centre or Rapaura Watergardens en route (entry rates not included) before continuing through Thames and Coromandel townships. Take some time to explore the area before continuing to your accommodation to check in. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3

    Coromandel

    After a hearty breakfast, self drive and explore Coromandel. Renowned for its natural beauty, green pastures, misty rainforests and pristine golden beaches, is full of spectacular scenery. The Coromandel is blessed with hundreds of natural hideaways, making it an ideal place to escape from city bustle. View the most famous beaches in the Coromandel area including hot water beach, Hahei, and Cathedral Cove. Once you reach there, you are not at all far from the enjoyment (if weather permits). Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4

    Coromandel - Tauranga (166 Kms/ Approx 2.5 hours)

    After breakfast, enjoy your morning at leisure. Spend the day by walking, swimming, exploring, or just relaxing . You can visit local museums or shops, gardens etc. Coromandel has many well-preserved Victorian buildings and an interesting museum. There are several good walks in the area and a railway enthusiast has created an hour-long train trip at Driving Creek. This afternoon, self drive from Coromandel to Tauranga. Check into the hotel. Downtown Tauranga has several historically significant areas to view during a scenic walk around the area. The Strand waterfront area is modern and always buzzing, and is home to a number of cafés, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5

    Tauranga - Rotorua (64 Kms/ Approx 1 hour)

    This morning is free to explore Tauranga before heading along the coast to Te Puke. Enjoy a guided tour of a kiwifruit orchard at Kiwi 360 and visit the famous Comvita Visitor’s Centre, famous for the healing properties of Manuka honey. Fabulous views of the surf coast are with you nearly all the way. Late Afternoon, depart from Tauranga for Rotorua. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Catch a whiff of Rotorua’s sulphur-rich, asthmatic airs and you’ve already got a taste of New Zealand’s most dynamic thermal area, home to spurting geysers, steaming hot springs and exploding mud pools. In the evening, you can head to Astrolabe Brew Bar on your own. It is the perfect spot for party lovers. The Beer Garden, patio, tent and several bar games are the major attractions of this place. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 6

    Rotorua Sightseeing

    After a scrumptious breakfast, self drive to visit Agrodome to witness the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be entertained by New Zealand's performing sheep and other attractions. Later, proceed to visit Te - Puia thermal village known for its hot springs, geysers and boiling mud pools. Watch the Maori craftsmen and learn about the traditional arts of carving and weaving and Rainbow Springs to see the flower and fauna of New Zealand. Return to the hotel. You can unwind at Rotorua’s Polynesian Spa - a world’s leading, natural hot mineral bathing and luxury spa retreat (on direct payment). Geothermal waters nourish the skin and relieve tired muscles while decadent therapies rejuvenate your body. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 7

    Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland (228 Kms/Approx 3 hours)

    Today, drive to Auckland through the lush Waikato farmlands, stopping for a guided tour to world class attraction Hobbiton Movie Set and Waitomo. Travel across the rich Waikato farmland. The Waitomo Caves region is famous for its subterranean splendour. Beneath the surface of this ancient limestone region is a series of vast cave systems decorated with stalactites, stalagmites and glow-worms. Enjoy a guided tour of the Waitomo Caves and a boat ride through the famous Glow-Worm grotto. Enjoy twinkling lights emitting from the ceiling like stars in a dark night. Upon arrival at Auckland, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 8
  • Breakfast
    Departure

    After breakfast, self drive to the airport for your onwards journey. Drop the car at the airport branch. The tour ends with wonderful memories!!

Anything that is explicitly not mentioned in the inclusions and optional as suggested in the itinerary, are not a part of this package.
Hotels or Flights (if included) mentioned in the itinerary or at the time of booking are subject to availability. We shall be in our right to change the hotels of similar or higher star category as booked in the itinerary and also provide alternate Flights (if included).
Cost and consequences arising due to any force major situations including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances like; natural calamities, political disturbances, health issues, flight delays / cancellations, things beyond our control, etc. will have to be borne by the guest.
Any changes in itinerary or upgrade in hotel /s will be charged extra, over and above the given cost (which will be informed to the customer in advance for final acceptance and payment).
GST (currently at 5%) or any other taxes that may be introduced, will be charged extra as applicable at the time of booking.
The booking of this holiday, offering, services and disputes that may arise of the same shall be subject to the sole and exclusive Courts in Mumbai, India only.
Confirmation of the package will be done within 2 working days of the receipt of the amounts. In case of any increase in cost, you will be informed about the same and you will have to make payment within 2 days for enabling us to proceed with the bookings with our suppliers to give a confirmation. If you choose not to pay the increased cost, your only right shall be limited to receive the entire amount refunded which shall be done in 2 working days without any cancellation charges or penalties.
Travelxp does not have any role to play for issuance / rejection of Visas other than being a facilitator.
Being a tour organizer, we will not be liable / responsible to you for any loss, injury or damage in respect of life,limb or property, sickness, delay, discomfort,anxiety, service denial, service deficiency,additional expenses etc incurred by you or for any direct, indirect, consequential loss and / or damage or any kind suffered by you howsoever caused arising out of any act, omission, default of any contractor /supplier or of any servant or agent employed by the contractor / supplier or of any
a)Failure on the part of airline to accommodate passengers (despite having confirmed tickets) or cancellation, change of route, delay of flights etc. b)Over booking of seats / rooms by the airline / hotel. c)Loss of / delay of baggage by airline /coach / cruise / train. d)Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident,loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses,consequential loss and / or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused; e)Rudeness or unprofessional behavior of staff of airline
Further, please note that in any case, our liability arising from this contract shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour holiday. Further, under no circumstances shall we have any liability in respect of any indirect, special or consequential losses /damages whatsoever.
