Japan has to offer mouth-watering food, majestic temples and shrines, zen gardens, lush national parks and a rich historic culture.

ITINERARY
DAY 1
  • Arrive Tokyo

    Welcome to Tokyo. Tokyo is a world unto itself, and it’s an absolute must-see for any travel lover. Soak in the traditional Japanese culture, learn about modern life in the city, and watch people until your head spins. After Immigration clearance and baggage collection proceed to the arrival hall where you will meet the chauffeur holding placard of your name. Transfer to the hotel. The remaining day you can explore the nearby area on your own. If you are in for a traditional Japenese cuisine, you can visit Tofuya Ukai which is Tokyo’s one of the most gracious restaurants with an exquisite traditional garden, in the shadow of Tokyo Tower. Seasonal preparations of tofu and accompanying dishes are served in the refined kaiseki style. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2
  • Breakfast
    Tokyo - City Tour

    This morning you will be taken for a city tour which includes Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade. Tokyo Tower is one of the best-known towers in the world. Made of prefabricated steel, Tokyo Tower is called light because it weighs only 4,000 metric tons. At a height of 1,092 feet, it is the world’s tallest self-supporting steel tower. Asakusa Temple is a Buddhist temple and one of the Tokyo's most colorful and popular temples. A shopping street of over 200 meters, called Nakamise is next to the temple. Alongside typical Japanese souvenirs such as yukata and folding fans, various traditional local snacks are sold. Return to the hotel and relax. You can spend your evening at tachinomi stand bar, enjoy seasonal cocktail, sing all-night karaoke and dance to the beats of DJs from around the world. Tokyo is home to one of the most diverse and fascinating nightlife scenes on the planet! Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3
  • Breakfast
    Tokyo – Mt. Fuji – Hakone – Kyoto (by train/Approx 3 hours)

    Today morning, we drive you to the foot of Mt. Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up to the Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Mt Fuji is not only the highest mountain but Japan’s most climbed and depicted one, It is also the pure representation of good luck and good fortune for all Japanese citizens. What is even more fascinating is that it is not a single volcano. It is part of three volcanoes, one on top of the other. Continue your tour by taking a laid-back boat cruise on beautiful Lake Ashi before touring Mount Komagatake’s ropeway and summit, which offers amazing view of nearby Hakone National Park. In the evening, take a train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Kyoto. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4

    Kyoto – Excursion to Nara

    Start your day with a quick sightseeing of Kyoto by visiting Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors (when Nijo Castle is closed, visit Ryoanji Temple instead), and Kyoto Imperial Palace which is rich in tradition and reflects the architectural styles of various periods. Enjoy buffet style lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center (at own expense). Post lunch, proceed for Nara tour. Nara is home to some of the country’s best temples and shrines, along with several fine gardens, museums and traditional neighborhoods. Once you are in Nara, visit the famous Todaiji Temple housing Great Buddha, which is a complex of buildings that includes the world's largest wooden structure. Then visit the colorful Kasuga Shrine, which is Nara's most celebrated shrine. Kasuga Taisha is famous for its lanterns, which have been donated by worshipers. Hundreds of bronze lanterns can be found hanging from the buildings. Return to Kyoto. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5

    Kyoto – Tokyo (by train/Approx 3 hours)

    After a hearty breakfast, relax in the hotel or shop around the town on your own. Kyoto features a unique mix of shopping, where modern, high end fashion shops can be found alongside stores with centuries of history selling traditional Kyoto crafts or specialty foods. This is well expressed in the city's largest shopping district along Shijo Street at the heart of central Kyoto. Enjoy shopping at the Shijo Street. Later, return to the hotel and check out. Transfer to the station and board the train to Tokyo. Upon arrival at Tokyo, check into the hotel. If time permits, take a relaxing soak in a steaming bath (on direct payment). Japan is famous for its uniquely designed onsen (natural hot springs) and spa resorts that combine the best of naturally heated and mineral rich water. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 6
  • Breakfast
    Tokyo Departure

    After enjoying breakfast, proceed to the airport for your onwards journey. The tour ends with wonderful memories!!
