In domestic flights, the checked luggage allowance is 32lb/15kg per traveler; on international flights, it is 44lb/20kg, 55lb/25kg, or 66lb/30kg per traveler, depending on your destination.

Domestic Flights

International Flights

– The allowance of 20 kg, 25 kg, or 30 kg per person is applicable depending on your destination. At the airport, for Extra per piece INR 2000 will be charged, with additional baggage excess possible.

A single checked bag’s maximum combined dimensions (L + W + H) must not exceed 158cm (62in).

Lap infants are permitted to have a 15lb/7kg free hand baggage allowance, with the bag’s total combined dimensions (L + W + H) not exceeding 115cm (domestic and international flights).

IndiGo Baggage Allowance for Special Items

If you check in Special Baggage items, IndiGo will charge you a fee. This price will be applied in addition to any applicable excess baggage fees. Domestic flights cost INR 1,200 whereas international flights cost INR 2,500.

Special Baggage items include the following:
