ITINERARY
DAY 1
  • Arrive Vienna - City Tour and Schonbrunn Palace

    Welcome to Vienna - the city has a very convenient layout: Meet our representative at the airport who will transfer you to the hotel. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a city tour of Vienna As we drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. The highlight of this programme is the visit to Schonbrunn Palace where we take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. We return to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, where you will have the opportunity to end your tour, or you can choose to continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends. DAY 2

    Vienna - Salzburg

    This morning after breakfast, transfer on your own to the station to board your train to Salzburg. Welcome to Salzburg!! Salzburg's “Old Town” with its world famous baroque architecture is one of the best-preserved city centres north of the Alps, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Upon arrival in Salzburg, transfer to your hotel on your own. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3

    Salzburg - Sound of Music Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a tour of “Sound of Music”. Relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed as the 'Sound of Music' in the Salzburg area. The highlights and film locations of the 'Sound of Music', such as the beautiful gardens in Hellbrunn (where Liesl and Rolf sang 'I am 16 going on 17'), and the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film. At the end of the tour, don't forget to claim your free Edelweiss cocktail at the Jugend und Familiegastehaus close to the Fortress - just ask your Guide for directions! Evening free to explore the city of Salzburg on your own. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4

    Salzburg - Innsbruck

    This morning transfer to the station on your own to board your train for Innsbruck. Welcome to Innsbruck!! DAY 5

    Innsbruck - Swarovski Crystal World Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a visit to the Swarovski Crystal World. This tour will take you to explore the fantastic and sparkling world of Swarovski. Aboard a fast and comfortable coach from central Innsbruck (30 minutes drive), you will be taken to the world famous Swarovski Crystal World, situated in Wattens. The water spouting Giant (a remarkable huge face sculptured on top of a rock) will amaze you with his sparkling eyes! Inside the Giant, a whole crystal world awaits you: the Chambers of Wonders containing the Planet of Crystals, the Crystal Dome, the Crystal Theatre, the Ice passage and the Floating Poem. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6

    This morning transfer to the station on your own to board your train for Vienna. On arrival in Vienna, transfer to hotel on your own. Rest of the day is free to explore the city of Vienna on your own. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 7

    Vienna - Prague

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfer on your own to the station to board your train for Prague. Welcome to Prague!! Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague has been the political, cultural, and economic centre of the Czech state for more than 1100 years. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. According to Guinness World Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. Meet our representative at the train station who will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8

    Prague - Grand City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the grand city tour of Prague. During this excursion we will help you get acquainted with the historical district of the city. First, we will show you the New Town (the National Museum, the National Theatre etc.), then our private bus will take you across the Vltava river to the Lesser Town. Next, we will continue up towards the Castle district, where you will take approximately an hour long walking tour, during which you will have a chance to see the world-famous St. Vitus Cathedral. Finally, our private bus will take you to see the Jewish quarter and then through Old Town Square to Wenceslas Square, where the tour ends. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 9

    Prague - Konopiste and Karlstejn Castles

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a tour of Konopiste and Karlstejn Castles. During this all day excursion from Prague you will visit two unique gems amongst the castles in the Czech Republic, both located close to Prague. First we will visit Konopiste Castle founded in the 13th Century and the last residence of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, successor of the Austro-Hungarian throne. The Castle is renowned for it's fascinating collection of antique weaponry and furniture. Leaving Konopiste behind we continue westwards to the historical Karlstejn Castle. Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor had this gothic monument built as a depository for the Empire crown jewels and relics of saints. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10

    Prague - Budapest

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the station on your own to board your train for Budapest. Welcome to Budapest!! Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe its World Heritage Sites include the banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter, Andrássy Avenue, and the Millennium Underground Railway, the first on the European continent. In addition, the largest thermal water cave system in the world was discovered under Budapest in 2008. Meet our representative at the train station, who will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 11

    Budapest - City Tour

    This morning after breakfast, proceed for the city tour. On this tour you will be passing by the Parliament building before crossing the Danube on the Margaret Bridge and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side of the city. Here you will have some free time to yourself to visit the Fishermen's Bastion which offers stunning views over the city and the Mathias Church. Your tour will continue to the Gillert Hill before crossing the Elisabeth Bridge from where you will drive towards the Heroes' Square. Passing by the Opera and St Stephen's Basilica you reach the Hotel Intercontinental where your tour ends. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 12

    Budapest - River Ride and the Floating Bus

    After breakfast, proceed for a full day river ride tour - A whole new way to see the beautiful city of Budapest. RiverRide is a fantastic sightseeing tour, which gives you a unique opportunity to see the best of Budapest from a comfortable seat of an amphibious bus. Starts at the Roosvelt square at the bottom of the Chain Bridge the "bus" first visits the main sights of Budapest, on land: Academy of Science, Parliament, St.Stephen's basilica, Jewish Synagogue, Opera house, Hero's square. After the land tour the "bus" will make it's way to Ujpest embankment point where the coach will make it's way on to the river with a "splash". Your journey will continue on the river Danube passing by the beautiful Budapest land marks now from the river view: Chain bridge, Royal castle and the Citadella/Gellert hill. You will then take a turn and make your way back towards the "splash" point where you will embark again on shore and make your way back to your departure point, the Roosevelt square.

DAY 13

    Depart Budapest

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport on your own to board your return flight with lots of memories to share with your friends and family.
